Today’s article is about the embedded secure File Server within Oracle Integration3 , I will share some main features . Let’s get started!

The goal : is to not use an external FTP servers, and focus on building instead of hosting and maintaining a separate FTP server.

Some useful use cases:

– Customers can export a bulk data for batch data processing to OIC File Server , then OIC stage, transform and send to the target system.

-Lift -and -shift of the entreprise secure FTP servers to the Cloud

– Communication between B2B trading partners, like shown below:

About the FTP Adapter

I created a scheduled integration called ‘ Insert Sales Orders from File Server to AWD’

When you create a connection called ‘downloadSalesOrder’ based on the prebuilt FTP adapter , here’s the list of the available operations :

Here’s the configuration of my ‘downloadSalesOrder’ operation :

This is the parameters if you select Move to file operation :

You can do a same and continue to check the other operations.

FTP Adapter can process 100MB structures payloads.

Native File Server Action

Available in Oracle Integration3 , when you have an activated file server .
